From archaeological treasures to grand abbeys, from nature trails to testimonies of Alpine culture, the Susa Valley is told through the Free Guide, a practical and free tool that guides residents and visitors in discovering its excellence. Now in its 27th edition, the publication is part of the "Susa Valley. Treasures of Alpine Art and Culture" territorial development plan and is published by Graffio.

Within 60 pages, with texts in Italian, French, and English, the free guide presents a complete list of cultural sites in the Susa Valley open to the public and open to visitors. Descriptions are simple and engaging, with opening hours and useful contact information for organizing a visit.

Alongside the places of interest, the publication offers practical information on information points in the area and an easy-to-use map locating cultural and tourist sites and information points (ATL, IAT, municipal tourist offices, and tourist consortia).

There's also space for the main outdoor initiatives along the Via Francigena, with a page dedicated to the Via Francigena Marathon Val Susa, scheduled for Sunday, June 7, and the La Pellegrina Bike Marathon, scheduled for September 12 and 13.

Special coverage is reserved for the 17th Susa Valley Archaeological Heritage Day, scheduled for Sunday, September 27, and dedicated this year to the theme "Heritage in Danger." The guide also focuses on the 1300th anniversary of the Novalesa Abbey, with the presentation of the "On the Way to the Abbey" initiative on October 4, and on the 500th anniversary of Colombano Romean's Pertus.

Finally, the publication dedicates a section to the "Cultura a porte aperte" smartphone app, which allows you to book and independently visit numerous cultural sites between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. These include fourteen sites in the Susa Valley: the chapels of San Sisto, Notre Dame du Coignet and Saints Andrew and James in Bardonecchia; the chapel of Our Lady of Grace in Bussoleno; the chapel of Sant'Andrea in the hamlet of Ramats and the church of Santa Caterina in Chiomonte; the chapel of Saints Biagio Vescovo and Pietro in Exilles; the chapel of Santo Stefano in Giaglione; the Certosa Madonna della Losa in Gravere; the chapel of San Costanzo in Meana di Susa; the parish church of San Giorgio Martire in Moncenisio; the chapel of Santa Maria Maddalena in Novalesa; the chapel of the Annunciation in Salbertrand and the chapel of San Lorenzo, also known as "del Conte", in San Giorio di Susa.
