Casaforte of San Didero

fort Fortifications

Via Abegg 12, 10050 San Didero

The embattled structure called “Casaforte” is an example of medieval architecture (XIV-XV century) which belonged to the local nobility. The most important part consists of a square tower. From the entrance driveway leads to a courtyard in front of the southern facade enhanced by two loggias that identify the entrance and the first floor. Around the tower itself were integrated, during the time, frames and structures that have increased the housing part with stairs that connect the various floors.
