On the first weekend of April, the municipalities of Buttigliera Alta, Rosta and Avigliana and the Fondazione Ordine Mauriziano will celebrate the 650th anniversary of the birth of the painter Giacomo Jaquerio, the greatest representative of late Gothic art in Piedmont, active between Turin, Geneva and Savoy, known above all for the frescoes he created starting in 1410 to decorate the interiors of the Preceptory of Sant’Antonio di Ranverso.
