“Opus Number Zoo,” a musical composition by Luciano Berio, written in 1951 and revised in 1970. The work, consisting of four short pieces, is conceived as a “children’s game” that tells stories of animals. The texts by Rhoda Levine add a narrative and theatrical element to the composition. A group of young musicians, gathered in the wind quintet "VELES," will pay tribute to Luciano Berio, one of the most prestigious Italian composers of the 20th century, on the centenary of his birth.
