For the 2026 edition of the European Heritage Days, dedicated to the theme "Archaeology in Progress," the traditional guided tour of the Roman villa has been expanded with the opportunity to explore, guided by Superintendency officials, two new rooms adjacent to the vestibule, recently excavated. This will allow visitors to understand the complex historical evolution of the complex, exploring the reuse of building materials from the earliest phases of the building.

First tour at 4:00 PM.

Second tour at 5:30 PM.

Contact for reservations: sabap-to.info@cultura.gov.it.

Admission: Free, reservations recommended.

For this occasion, it will be possible to visit the Roman villa of Caselette to discover how the Romans lived in the Susa Valley in the first century AD. Traveling back in time, visitors will be able to enter the rooms of the villa and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of one of the most important Roman-era suburban residential complexes in Piedmont.

It will also be possible to take a naturalist-led tour of the Primavalle Area. Located on the slopes of Mount Musinè, it is home to numerous nationally and regionally rare animal and plant species, making it one of Piedmont's most biodiverse areas. A true "xerothermic oasis" that also includes the Upper and Lower Caselette Lakes.

The Roman Villa of Caselette will be open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the first tour departing at 4:00 PM, the second at 5:00 PM, and the last at approximately 6:00 PM.

The Primavalle Area, meeting point at the Roman Villa of Caselette, will be open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the first tour departing at 4:00 PM and the second at approximately 5:30 PM.
