Among ancient alleys and picturesque views, where centuries-old tales come back to life, we will experience a special moment with a stop for the inauguration of a work by artist Andrea Ferrero for the Una Boccata d’Arte project, an initiative that brings contemporary art to Italy's most beautiful villages, creating a suggestive dialogue between historical heritage and modern languages.
At the end of the tour, the excitement continues: participants can head to the Campo del Palio (Via Oronte Nota) to experience the heart of the official celebrations and witness one of the most solemn moments of the event: the Mayor handing over the keys to the city to the Red Count, officially marking the start of the challenges and festivities.
It will be the perfect opportunity to stop in typical medieval taverns, immerse yourself in the period atmosphere, and attend the exciting evening show.
The tours are organized thanks to the support of the Municipality of Avigliana and the coordination of Turismo Torino e Provincia.
Meet at 3:00 PM in Piazzetta San Giovanni, in front of the Church of San Giovanni.
