The Preceptory of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso opens its doors to books, stories, and art for a day that intertwines literature and cultural heritage. On Sunday, June 21st, "Books and Art in Ranverso" returns, an initiative organized by the Buttigliera Alta Pro Loco. Throughout the day, the outdoor spaces of the monumental complex will be enlivened with publishing stands, book presentations, and activities for the public.

Now in its third year, the event will transform the churchyard and outdoor areas of the Preceptory into a meeting place for authors, readers, and art enthusiasts. From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., book presentations and discussions with writers will take place, alongside a bookbinding and printing workshop led by Francesca De Leo, a restorer of antique books.

To mark the occasion, the Preceptory will also offer two special thematic tours, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., dedicated to Giacomo Jaquerio, the great master of Piedmontese International Gothic, who left some of his most significant works in Ranverso. "Viva Jaquerio!" will guide visitors through the artist's life, work, and workshop, offering insight into one of the leading figures of late Gothic painting in Piedmont and the profound connection between his name and the Preceptory of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso, custodian of his most famous masterpiece.

Completing the program, at 5:00 p.m., the Preceptory will also host "Homo Viator. Travel Stories and Travellers," a project conceived by Borgatta's Factory that, through narration and music, retraces the stories of pilgrims, wayfarers, and men on the move. The second event in the "Words and Notes Under the Stars" series will take the audience on a journey through stories and musical suggestions inspired by the themes of travel, exploration, and encounter, reflecting that universal yearning that has always driven humanity to journey. Participation fee: €3.
