In an atmosphere suspended between historical reality and imagination, inspired by The Name of the Rose, the Preceptory of Sant’Antonio di Ranverso exceptionally opens its doors to a unique gaming experience, set in the Middle Ages among cloisters, relics and popular legends.
Role-playing is a powerful tool that, through fiction and interaction, can be used to explore aspects of the mind, emotions and human behaviour. Role-playing stimulates creativity, memory, problem solving and the ability to adapt. The fact that all this happens in an environment so rich in art and history as Ranverso, which becomes its ideal setting and container, adds to all these important qualities and characteristics an extraordinary way to experience and understand the spaces of the Preceptory in an even more immersive way.
For participants, the day's program includes a meeting at 11:30 am with a guided tour of the Preceptory and a packed lunch in the cloister (to be provided by the participant) and a role-playing game from 2 to 6 pm.
