On Sunday, October 11, history comes to life at the Preceptory of Sant’Antonio di Ranverso. The event transports visitors back to the 17th century, when the Susa Valley was traversed by the *Camino de los Tercios Españoles* (or *Corredor Sardo*)—an overland route established during the reign of Philip II to transport troops and resources to Flanders while avoiding the risks associated with the Atlantic route. The main route began in the Milan area and crossed the Alps through the Duchy of Savoy, continuing on through Franche-Comté, Lorraine, Luxembourg, the Bishopric of Liège, and Flanders, finally reaching Brussels.
The reenactment—titled "LIFE: Snapshots of Life Through Time"—is organized by the group *Le vie del tempo*. Two themed guided tours are also scheduled for the occasion (at 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM), focusing on the abbey church's interior decorative cycles.
