Avigliana

A group of passionate citizens has been collecting historic photos and postcards of Avigliana for over 30 years. The idea was born from the passion of Rosetta Chiaberge, a retired Avigliana middle school teacher, and the work was recently completed with the scanning of approximately 800 images.
On Friday, October 10th, at 5:00 PM, the Primo Levi Civic Library will inaugurate "Avigliana com'era," a digital archive of digitized photos and postcards.
The collection is a journey through Avigliana's memory, through photos, historic postcards, and testimonies that take us back in time, from the late 19th century to the 1960s.
