Avigliana

As is tradition, the Drubiaglio Agricultural Fair and the Corso Laghi Commercial Fair return in early November. Organized by the Municipality of Avigliana in collaboration with the "Famija ed Drubiaij" (a cooperative society) and the "Borgo Drubiaglio-Grangia" Palio group, the events will take place on Saturday, November 7, in Drubiaglio, and Sunday, November 8, on Corso Laghi. To facilitate travel, a free shuttle service will run every 30 minutes—from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM—between the train station on Corso Torino and the Drubiaglio Fair.

Once again, the event will feature agricultural producers and an exhibition-market for farm and barnyard animals, hosted in partnership with the Association of Breeders of Poultry and Native Breeds from Moretta (in the province of Cuneo). Additionally, an "Aspromiele" stand will provide information about the *Vespa velutina* (Asian hornet) and the risks posed by this dangerous species. At the "animal meadow"—located at the "Il Corno" farm in Rubiana—dog owners will have the opportunity to try out "sheepdog" activities (livestock herding) free of charge.

The Agricultural Fair offers a well-established program designed for children and families. On Saturday, November 7, starting at 10:00 AM in Drubiaglio, the *transhumance* (seasonal migration) of a flock of sheep—from the Raseri farm—will take place, with the sheep parading through the market stalls. Starting at 12:00 PM, there will be a communal lunch featuring street food options, as well as a special fair menu offered by the restaurant *La Rosa Rossa* for 25 euros. At 2:00 PM, the Cibrario farm will host a cheese-making demonstration; at 3:00 PM, there will be closing remarks and acknowledgments; and at 4:00 PM, a pony show will take place.
The event will also include bread-making demonstrations by the *Fermento Collettivo* cooperative, along with displays by engravers, woodturners, and forest sculptors. Throughout the day, Via Drubiaglio—near the bridge over the Messa stream—will host the fourth edition of the hobbyists' market.

At the Drubiaglio Fair, visitors can purchase traditional regional food products from the various stalls and the *Coldiretti* market. There will also be stands featuring equipment for agriculture, animal husbandry, and forestry. Notably, producers of the "Drubiaglio Blonde and Flat Onion" (*Cipolla bionda e piatta di Drubiaglio*)—a product with *De.Co.* (municipal designation of origin) status and a *Slow Food* Presidium—will be present. Following the first three editions of the "La Bionda in Tavola" event and the most recent "Magnalonga," attendees will once again have the opportunity to purchase these onions directly from the producers, including in processed forms.
