From November 2, 2026, to February 27, 2027, an exhibition developed as part of the LIFE Predator project will be on display at the "La Fabrica" multifunctional center in Avigliana (Via IV Novembre 19, entrance and raised ground floor).
The exhibition addresses the sensitive issue of invasive alien species, focusing on the Wels catfish—a freshwater fish native to Central-Eastern Europe that is having a devastating impact on the biodiversity of rivers and lakes, profoundly disrupting natural balances. Through various panels and scientific content, the exhibition explores strategies for the prevention, monitoring, and containment of the Wels catfish’s spread in the lakes of Southern Europe.
Visiting hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
