On Sunday, October 4, the Iride sports association—affiliated with the Libertas sports promotion organization—will host the "Sulla Via dell’Abbazia" (On the Path to the Abbey) recreational walk. The 14 km route follows the historic paths of the Via Francigena, starting from Susa at 9:30 AM. Upon arrival, participants will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the Abbey and enjoy refreshments provided by the Pro Loco and the Novalesa Alpini Group. The event is organized with the patronage and financial support of the Metropolitan City of Turin; as the owner of this true gem of art, faith, history, and culture, the Metropolitan City has recognized the initiative's significant symbolic value within the context of the celebrations marking the 13-century history of the Novalesa complex.
