"Nuota in Comune"—the now-traditional non-competitive swim across Lago Grande—will take place on Sunday, September 13, with a 9:30 AM gathering and a 10:00 AM start at the Club Sport Nautici (Via Monginevro 30).
Around 120 people have registered so far; participants are required to bring an inflatable swim buoy. A shuttle service will be provided to transport backpacks from the start to the finish line. Registration is free.
Now in its 18th edition, "Nuota in Comune" continues to aim at promoting open-water swimming in the lake and showcasing the opportunities offered by this medieval city with a "green heart."
