Writers meet readers on Sunday, June 22 at the Preceptory of Sant’Antonio di Ranverso for the second edition of Books and Art in Ranverso.
The busy schedule includes 13 presentations, from 10am to 6pm.
For the European Music Festival 2025, the concert Il ritorno, a monologue with music by Claudio Rutilio Namaziano, De reditu suo (5th century AD) translation, adaptation and direction by Leonardo Mancini, with Marcello Spinetta, voice and Alberto Rizzuti, keyboard, is scheduled for 4:30 pm. The show offers a theatrical adaptation in Italian of De reditu suo, a travel diary written in verse by Claudio Rutilio Namaziano, one of the last authors of Latin literature.
During the day, it will also be possible to participate in workshops for children with herbs, led by Simone di Culturalpe of the Ida Carlini Civic Library, readings led by the librarians and a painting workshop led by the E-stratelier school – The art of Sumi with an exhibition of works by students focused on the human face and figure and the art of Sumi-E, Japanese black ink painting. Finally, at 11 am and 3 pm, guided tours of the Preceptory are scheduled.
