“Susa Svelata: Racconti e Ombre al Chiaro di Luna” (Susa Unveiled: Tales and Shadows in the Moonlight) kicks off on May 23, a new series of evening and pre-evening theatrical guided tours to discover the historic center of Susa, curated by the Artemide Association, the management body of the Castello della Contessa Adelaide.
The opening night, entitled “Middle Ages in the Feminine,” will take place on the occasion of the presence in the halls of the castle of the exhibition “Matilde di Canossa e Adelaide di Susa” and will be entirely dedicated to the role of women in the Middle Ages, often forgotten or marginalized. An exciting itinerary through the halls of the Castle and the streets of the city, to tell – with the voices of guides and actors in costume – the strength, diplomacy and political vision of two exceptional female figures, united by a family bond and an unprecedented legacy of power.
Ticket: €25, reduced (8-16 years old) €15.
