At the Preceptory of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso, on Sunday 9 June, history is relived. We return, in particular, to 1600, when the Susa Valley was crossed by the Camino de los Tercios Españoles or Corredor Sardo, a land route created during the reign of Felipe II to be able to move troops and resources to Flanders, avoiding the risks of Atlantic route. The main route began in the Milan area and passed the Alps through the Duchy of Savoy and followed Franche-Comté, Lorraine, Luxembourg, the Bishopric of Liège and Flanders, until reaching Brussels.
