Stroke Prevention Days on November 30 in Buttigliera Alta at the town hall.
Citizens over 50 years of age residing in the towns where the day is organized are subjected to a free collection of information on their habits and lifestyles, and to some clinical checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar and capillary cholesterolemia. At the end of the surveys, subjects with abnormal values can have a consultation with the doctors and nurses present for an initial check of the data.
The aim of the initiative is to prevent, avoid or reduce the onset and development of cerebral stroke at the source, and to promote individual and collective health and well-being in general.
