Avigliana... Together

On Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, two free events will be held at the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Borgo Vecchio, Vicolo Santa Maria, in Avigliana.

The Ara, Arte, restauro, archeologia association is opening a new green area at the foot of Avigliana Castle, beneath the castle square on Via Norberto Rosa, which houses the simulated archaeological site.

The works of Francesco Blaganò, a non-academic artist who has dedicated his life to figurative, material, and conceptual art, transforming simple materials like paper and glue into extraordinary works, will be on display at Certosa 1515 in Avigliana from April 17 to May 17.

On Sunday, April 26, at 5:00 PM, the Friends of the Church of San Rocco and the ELEVAL - Momenti d’Arte Cultural Association will inaugurate the exhibition "Luisa Albert – The Theater of the Real," curated by Domiziana Bocina, in the exhibition space of the ancient Romanesque church of San Rocco on Via Battisti in Condove. The exhibition will be open until May 17.

The exhibition "Cime di alberi e gambe di tavolo" by the artist Jacopo Rinaldi opens on Saturday 14 June from 3pm to 7pm at the Pinacoteca "G.A. Levis" (via Vittorio Emanuele 75) in Chiomonte. The exhibition is the result of a period of residency, part of the program launched by Pinacoteca G.A. Levis aimed at hosting contemporary artists with the aim of activating new narratives starting from the substantial heritage of paintings by the landscape artist Giuseppe Augusto Levis and increasing public collections.

Seventy-five years of activity, over a thousand concerts, a choral tradition spanning generations: the Coro Amici della Montagna CAI (Friends of the Mountain Choir) of Asti celebrates this milestone with a concert on Saturday, May 16, at the Preceptory of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso.

The Aviglianese Archaeological Association (A3), under the patronage of the City of Avigliana and in collaboration with "Valle Susa Tesori," announces the "Dive into the Middle Ages" event. This initiative offers a unique opportunity to discover the villages and medieval castle through the expert commentary of those who study history firsthand.

"Cuore attivo Monterosa in Nepal" exhibition featuring photographs by Samuel Confortola at the Casa della Salute (Corso Torino 37) in Oulx.

Over ninety young musicians from the Goitre Center will perform on the stage of the Daniele Bertotto Auditorium on Friday, May 15th, Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th.

On Saturday, May 16th, at 9:00 PM at Adelaide Castle, the presentation of Countess Adelaide will take place, with the participation of the Corte del Conte Rosso, the flag-waving group, and musicians of Avigliana.

"The Art of R-ESISTERE - On the Paths of Freedom" returns for the sixth time, under the patronage of the Piedmont Region, the Metropolitan City of Turin, the Susa Valley Mountain Union, the Cozie Alps Parks Authority, and the Municipality of Almese.
