Gran Fondo Sestriere-Colle delle Finestre.
The meeting point for the start is at 8 in Cesana Torinese and there are two routes offered to the athletes, both starting from Cesana at 8:30: the Gran Fondo of 103.6 km, with 3,170 metres of positive altitude difference and the Medio Fondo of 79 km, with 2,370 metres of altitude difference. After the start, the competitors will head towards Oulx and descend the Susa Valley, passing through Salbertrand, Exilles, Chiomonte, Gravere and Susa. They will then tackle the climb towards the Colle delle Finestre on the Provincial Road 172. Once they reach the 2,176 metres of the Colle they will descend to Balboutet and then to Pourrieres di Usseaux, before returning to Sestriere via Pragelato. The first passage at Sestriere Colle will also be the arrival of the Medio Fondo, while the competitors of the Gran Fondo will continue on the Provincial Road 215 towards Sauze di Cesana, then pass through Cesana and go back up to Sestriere along the Provincial Road 23. The arrival of the first competitors of the Medio Fondo in Sestriere is scheduled for 11, while the best athletes of the Gran Fondo should arrive at the Colle around midday. The awards ceremony is scheduled for around 3:30 pm in Piazza Fraiteve.
