At Alveare Verde Park, the "Anti-Fascist Pasta, Peace, Disarmament, and Solidarity" event will take place on Sunday, July 26, at 12:30 p.m. In remembrance of the pasta dish that the Cervi family offered to the residents of Campegine, in the province of Reggio Emilia, on July 25, 1943, to celebrate the fall of the fascist regime with the dismissal and arrest of Benito Mussolini. The event is organized by the Mara Polo branch of the National Association of Italian Partisans (ANPI) of Avigliana, with Emergency, Vis rabbia spazio sociale, and the Sereno Regis Study Center, under the patronage of the Municipality of Avigliana.
Giorgio Mancuso, an activist with the Agite Coordination Committee, "Tools and Campaigns to Resist Warmongering and the Arms Race," will speak during the day. Music will follow with Francesco Stabile, and volunteers from the new Emergency group in Avigliana will participate.
