The 16th edition of the "TEA-TIME CONCERTO" music festival kicks off on Sunday, January 11th at the "D. Bertotto" Auditorium in Via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto 3 (Piazza del Popolo) in Avigliana.
This year's festival once again focuses on piano repertoire, with additional space for two events dedicated to authorial and chamber music. Alongside renowned musicians, Tea Time, as always, presents young performers on the verge of brilliant careers. This is a primary focus of the Fuga Association, which, under the management of the Fuga Institute, has always prioritized promoting young talent and developing musical culture through education, offering courses for students aged 4 and up. The festival will open (January 11th) with the Fuga Trio (Carlotta and Giacomo on piano and the young Ettore Maria on flute) performing works by Schubert and Dvòrak. The second event will take place on January 18th, featuring two very young guitarists: Aurora Falcone (15) and Marlon Adriano (18), who will perform a program spanning Baroque to Romanticism. The series continues as usual with two more young performers: Matteo Sperti (January 25th) and Francesco Campolattaro (February 1st), who will perform works by various composers, including Beethoven and Liszt. Tea Time will then move to the Sala del Vescovo inside the Civic Institute S. Fuga, where, as part of the school project "Meet the Music," Fabrizio Cotto (guitar and vocals) and Livia Hagiu (violin) will perform songs and stories about the singer-songwriters who have shaped the history of Italian music (February 8th). Tea Time will close on February 15th with a concert by the duo formed by Elisa Eleonora Papandrea (violin) and Giacomo Fuga (piano) in an intense program that includes pieces by Beethoven and a fantasy based on film music.
