On Sunday, July 6 at 04:30 pm at the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Borgo Vecchio in Avigliana "Creatures" concert.
The title of the event evokes the condition of the human being as a creature among creatures, underlining a theme of profound relevance in light of the ecological crisis that is affecting our time.
The biblical vision of Creation offers a precious starting point for reflection: the relationship between the human being and the rest of the living world is not only spiritual, but profoundly ecological, rooted in respect and the original balance of life.
The concert offers a musical journey through two works by Darius Milhaud, dedicated respectively to the creation of animal and human life and to the destructive force of irrationality.
The common thread between these moments will be a musical fairy tale composed by Carla Rebora, which tells, through a poetic story with a family of moles as protagonists, the cycle of life and harmony with nature.
The songs will be performed on the piano by a group of young talents: Angelo Degiorgis, Sije Huo, Lucia Tortorella, Samuele Tozzi and Simone Triolo, under the guidance of the teacher Annamaria Bordin.
To further enrich the experience, an art exhibition entitled "The Animal World", curated by the Associazione Aderenza Artistica Vanchigliese: on display, works by contemporary artists from Turin who celebrate this theme through different artistic solutions.
Free entry.
