CAMALEONTIKA is the theater festival organized by M.O.V. – Moderne Officine Valsusa and the Fabula Rasa company at the Magnetto Auditorium in Almese, with the support of the Municipality of Almese.
Now in its twelfth edition, the season presents a new, more intimate yet no less meaningful format, the result of a shared choice and a renewed pact between the organizers, the administration, and the community.
The twelfth edition will feature five events that combine music, contemporary theater, circus theater, and contemporary storytelling, maintaining the focus on contemporary languages that has always characterized the festival.
The season will open on April 11, 2026, with the concert "Progetto Faber – Le Nuvole," a tribute to Fabrizio De André, created in 2024 to mark the 25th anniversary of his death. The BBB Band, the official lineup composed of Rosa Marchetto, Andrea Bona, Ivano Pincelli, Roberto Bertinetti, Gianni Lucco Castello, Teo De Angelis, and Pieraldo Bona, will take the stage, joined by young musicians involved in the project, for a concert that intertwines memory, commitment, and sharing.
On May 23rd, "Dal Sottosuolo Underground" will be performed, a show written and performed by Barbara Mazzi and Francesco Gargiulo, with artistic consultancy by Marco Lorenzi and dramaturgy by Enrico Pastore. The show is produced by A.M.A. Factory in co-production with Teatro Libero di Palermo as part of the Fahrenheit 2020 #ArtNeedsTime project conceived by Il Mulino di Amleto. Inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the show consists of two one-act plays that explore solitude, ethical choices, pain, and rebirth, creating an intense and physical theater.
After the summer break, on October 10, 2026, the Magnetto Auditorium will host a concert by Real Tune, an a cappella vocal group formed in Turin and composed of Martina Tosatto, Linda Misuraca, Eva Pagliara, Paolo Dolcet, Davide Motta Frè, and Federico Zappino. Five voices and a beatboxer bring to life a fully rearranged Italian and international repertoire, where the voice becomes an orchestra and harmonic experimentation.
On November 7, circus-theater takes center stage with "Juliet," by and with Stefano Marzuoli, directed by André Casaca, a Teatro C'art production. A comical and poetic show that reinterprets the figure of Juliet through the eyes of a clown, transforming Shakespeare's tragedy into a tale of innocence, love, and fragile humanity.
The season concludes on December 12th with "Freevola Confession on the Unbearable Need for Admiration," by and starring Lucia Raffaella Mariani, with direction and dramaturgy by Lorenzo Maragoni and stage movement by Erica Nava. A Trento Spettacoli production with the support of Potenziali Evocati Multimediali, it addresses the conflict between the social gaze and female identity with irony and clarity in a powerful and timely generational monologue.
Artistic direction is by Beppe Gromi, along with Katia Bolognesi, Valeria Fioranti, Giuseppina Momblano, and Francesca Zitti.
