The 16th edition of the "TEA-TIME CONCERTO" music festival kicks off on Sunday, January 11th at the "D. Bertotto" Auditorium at Via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto 3 (Piazza del Popolo) in Avigliana.
The Fuga Trio, consisting of Carlotta and Giacomo Fuga (piano four-hands) and Ettore Maria Fuga (flute), will perform. The Fuga Duo has already performed numerous concerts at Italy's most important concert venues. A distinctive feature of the duo is the combination of a fraternal and artistic bond. Both were immersed in the art of music from birth: their parents, also musicians, encouraged and guided them in studying the piano and in learning about the greatest composers. During their years at the Conservatory, they also deepened their knowledge of opera singing, composition, and conducting. These added values have allowed them to explore other chamber and orchestral ensembles, which have been instrumental in their collaborations with other artists over the years, some of which have been consolidated over the years. All these musical experiences come together in the performance of Duo Fuga, who, through the perilous intertwining of their four hands, manage to convey the feeling of being one with the keyboard, performing each piece with musicality, sensitivity, and virtuosity. The four-handed ensemble will perform Schubert's Grand Rondeau and Dvorak's Four Slavonic Dances. On this occasion, the young Ettore (Giacomo's son) will join the duo for a performance of Schubert's Arpeggione. A program and performers not to be missed.
