CUBA, a mythical place for a revolution that was won but probably never fully accomplished. A place that has been the victim of a trade blockade for over 50 years and of a policy that is having difficulty managing such a long embargo. A place with much to tell about its past but also about its difficult present, where the colors and music are fading but hold up in the most intimate places still steeped in its history. A place where the dignity of the human being has never failed, but which is now perhaps going through its most complicated period and for this reason should not be forgotten. A place still to be visited and discovered, stopping to chat with its inhabitants, with those who dream of leaving it and those who hope for a new rebirth. The “isla grande” is this and much more.
