Brief description:
On the apsidal vault of the small chapel of the Madonna of Sorrows, in the central quadrature of the composition, there is a representation of a shroud held by four cherubs. On the sides of the representation, on the left, two angels with the instruments of the Passion can be seen, and on the right, two other angels with a “Veronica” and a basin and a jug of water.

Historical-critical notes:
The entire chapel was restored between 1961 and 1966.
