On Sunday, September 27, Archaeological Heritage Day returns to the Susa Valley for its 17th edition. This event is dedicated to discovering and showcasing the area's extraordinary archaeological and historical-cultural richness, with this year’s theme being “Heritage in Danger.”
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM & 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Castle open to the public
10:30 AM & 11:30 AM: Guided tours of the archaeological sites (in collaboration with the Superintendency for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape)
3:00 PM & 4:00 PM: Guided tours of the Castle
3:00 PM: "Dies in Arena" at the Arena – a reenactment of gladiator combat
