On Sunday, August 2nd, at 4:30 PM, the Vita e Pace Association renews its invitation to the public for a special event in the evocative setting of the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Avigliana.
Due to the sudden indisposition of pianist Pierpaolo Strona, the concert will feature Edoardo Arrowood, a multifaceted artist who has established himself as a performer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer over the course of his career, becoming a key figure in Turin's underground rock scene.
In an intimate and intense atmosphere, Arrowood will take the stage with a few essential instruments—some guitars and a grand piano—to create an intimate and unfiltered concert.
It will be nearly two hours of music and stories, a journey through songs that have been kept in a drawer for too long and are finally ready to be shared with the public again today. "Come, because we'll have to experience nearly two hours of songs that I've left in a drawer gathering dust for too long. Preparing for this event, I discovered I remember them all by heart," the artist explains.
For those who met Edoardo Arrowood in the late 1990s, with his band or in his acoustic performances, this will be a chance to rediscover one of the most authentic singer-songwriters on the Turin scene. For those discovering him for the first time, it will be an opportunity to experience
a repertoire of auteur rock, personal writing, and intense interpretation.
For over twenty years, Arrowood has also been the founder of SOUNDVISION Studio, near Piazza Statuto in Turin: a two-level space where he records, produces, and trains new generations of musicians and audio professionals.
Today, he is a happy father and partner, but he maintains his unwavering desire to continually challenge himself, without compromise, relying solely on the power of his songs.
Also in the audience will be Luna, his little girl of just over a year and a half, to whom this special occasion will ideally be dedicated.
There will also be some surprises, including a moving duet with the artist's mother: a ninety-year-old concert pianist and stage actress, still active today with the same passion that has accompanied her entire long career.
