The stories of the saints come to life in the frescoes of the Preceptory of Sant'Antonio di Ranverso, where art and devotion intertwine in a journey dedicated to the figures of Magdalene, Martha, Anna, and James. On Sunday, July 12, the "July is the Month of Storytelling" event offers a guided tour that leads the public on a journey through the stories of four protagonists of Christian tradition, celebrated in the liturgical calendar throughout the month.

The initiative leads visitors on a narrative constructed through the images preserved in the Preceptory. The frescoes become the starting point for retracing episodes, legends, and iconographic attributes that helped define popular devotion and the medieval imagination, offering a new perspective on the complex's artistic heritage. The tour connects the works with the stories of the saints, highlighting how painting was a tool capable of conveying stories, values, and meanings to an audience that, in the Middle Ages, found images to be one of the primary forms of knowledge and narration.
