Avigliana will also have its May Day concert with a Piedmontese twist. The Youth Space, with the support of the Municipality of Avigliana, presents the Concert-neh on Friday, May 1st, at Alveare Verde Park, starting at 4:00 PM. The initiative is aimed at young artists and emerging bands from the Susa Valley and surrounding areas.
Inspired by the great concert in Piazza San Giovanni in Rome, the Youth Space members want to give Avigliana the opportunity to once again be a city of art, youth, and music. They are looking for artists to participate in this event, on a symbolic day, Labor Day, celebrated in many countries around the world to commemorate the struggle for workers' rights.
During the May Day Concert-neh at Alveare Verde Park, there will also be a contemporary painting performance. The Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso, in collaboration with Spazio Giovani, presents an art show: graffiti artists and street artists will improvise their works on plasterboard and invite other young people to participate.
