“Voci in viaggio” (Traveling Voices) is the name of a series of meetings organized by Viaggi Solidali to tell, through the testimonies of guides and cultural intermediaries, the countries proposed as travel destinations.
Thursday, July 10 at 6 pm at the Avigliana civic library, the voice will be that of Masahiro Nakano, a guide for the city of Hiroshima, a collaborator of Viaggi Solidali visiting our city. Masahiro will talk about Hiroshima: a city with a terrible past, but which has been able to recover and regenerate itself, becoming beautiful and vital. The meeting is intended to be informal and is open to all.
For the occasion, the exhibition of images and films curated by Anpi Avigliana, “Hiroshima and Nagasaki” will be partially set up, which the Avigliana library recently hosted to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the tragic atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
