Mompantero
To mark European Heritage Days, and as part of the "Campi, muricci e pietre parlanti" (Fields, Dry-Stone Walls, and Talking Stones) program—which focuses on the development and promotion of the area and the creation of a medieval and modern rural landscape in Mompantero—the AIPSAM Association (Historical and Environmental Heritage) is organizing the inauguration of the "Via delle Pietre parlanti" (Path of Talking Stones) on Saturday, September 26. This event is held in collaboration with the Municipality of Mompantero, the Alpi Cozie Protected Areas Management Authority, and the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Turin.
10:00 AM: Meeting at the Madonna dell’Ecovà Chapel for a guided field visit (duration: approx. 2.5 hours).
2:30 PM: Presentation of the digital platform in the Council Chamber of the Mompantero Town Hall (Piazza Bolaffi 1).
For the field visit, participants must wear non-slip shoes (Vibram soles or similar) and clothing suitable for mid-mountain terrain. Reservations are appreciated for organizational purposes:
