Exilles

Saturday, August 8th, at 9:30 pm, at the NATURE PAVILION, Via degli Alpini, in Exilles, screening of the film "The Wind Blows Round" by Giorgio Diritti (Italy 2005, 110 minutes).

The film is set in the Alta Valle Maira, in the heart of the Occitan Alps, and recounts the arrival of a family of foreign shepherds in a depopulated and culturally close-knit mountain community. The story depicts the delicate balance between acceptance and mistrust, identity and change, revealing profound tensions linked to coexistence and the fear of others. Filmed in Italian, French, and Langue d'Oc, with many non-professional actors drawn directly from the area, the film captures the life and dynamics of Alpine communities with extraordinary authenticity.

Free admission.

The screenings of Colombano 500 are part of the 14th edition of the "A Summer at the Cinema" series, organized by the National Cinema Museum Association.
