The fourth edition of Socialità in Festival once again offers events that intertwine culture, community, and participation through diverse artistic languages, keeping the theme of social inclusion for people with disabilities at its core.
As part of the festival, on Friday, June 12th at 9:00 PM, the Teatro Fassino in Avigliana will host "5 Volte Alice, Forse Sei...", a show curated by Fabula Rasa and its Teatro Senza Confini project, directed by Beppe Gromi, with a production by M.O.V. Moderne Officine Valsusa, conceived and directed by Gromi himself.
"5 Volte Alice, Forse Sei..." is the result of extensive workshop work developed within the Teatro Senza Confini project and draws inspiration, in a free and visionary way, from Lewis Carroll's masterpiece.
The idea took shape in 2022 during a theatrical improvisation dedicated to Alice in Wonderland and gradually transformed into a collective creation that spans studies, open rehearsals, and subsequent stage developments. The first stage of the project was presented in December 2024 as part of Socialità in Festival, while the full version of the show debuted in June 2025 at the Teatro Magnetto in Almese to a sold-out audience.
On stage, Alice multiplies and traverses different worlds and dimensions, experiencing unexpected encounters and surreal situations where theatrical language is constructed through bodies, emotions, transformations, and sudden narrative deviations.
The suggestions of Carroll's classic are reinvented by the group in a poetic and unpredictable stage dimension, where "the irresistible charm of the absurd," in the words of Beppe Gromi, becomes one of the keys to the theatrical journey.
