Each year, the Valsusa Filmfest commemorates Bruno Carli, a partisan and the first president of the Valsusa Filmfest association, with the eponymous award for individuals committed to defending human rights and the environment.
The national Bruno Carli Award will be presented on Sunday, April 19th at Robinson Park in Almese (5:30 pm) to the entire population of Palestine. The ceremony will be accompanied by a musical theater reading and the photography exhibition "Parlami di Gaza," by and featuring Ahmad Jarboa (a Palestinian nurse and photographer who survived the genocide), Mervat Alramli (a Palestinian screenwriter and set designer born in Gaza), and Mohammed AbusenJer (a Palestinian musician who survived the genocide). Several families displaced from Gaza will be in attendance.
