On Sunday, April 12, for the first opening of the 2026 season and the Patron Saint's Day of San Giorgio in Caselette, it will be possible to visit the Roman villa of Caselette to discover how the Romans lived in the Susa Valley in the first century AD. Traveling back in time, you will be able to enter the rooms of the villa and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of one of the most important Roman-era suburban residential complexes in Piedmont.
You can also take a free tour, led by a naturalist, of the Primavalle Area. Located on the slopes of Mount Musinè, it is home to numerous nationally and regionally rare animal and plant species, making it one of Piedmont's areas of greatest biodiversity. A true "xerothermic oasis" that also includes the Upper and Lower Caselette Lakes.
Due to the Fair, we suggest reaching the villa via Via Val della Torre to reach Via Strada romana.
The Roman Villa of Caselette will be open to visitors from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with the first tour starting at 2:30 PM, the second at 3:30 PM, and the last at approximately 4:30 PM.
