Chat Berton
Saturday, March 28th at 9:00 PM in Exilles, Cels Morliere, at the Circolo Amici del Cels, Occitan music with Chat Berton.
The group's name harks back to the legend of Berton the Cat, lost on Mount Chaberton. This mountain, which marks the border between France and Italy, has been at the center of the Escartons saga for centuries. This mountain symbolizes the "trait d'union" between Occitan populations on both sides of the Alpine divide. The group's goal is to promote the heritage of traditional music and dance of the Occitan territories.
