"Perennial Snows," a conference organized by CAI Almese and the scientific association I Meridiani, will take place on Thursday, February 26, at 9:00 PM at the Milanere community center.

Glaciers are the most sensitive indicators of the climate crisis: how long can they sustain themselves in the face of such accelerated global warming? Beyond sports, what other valuable role can they play?

Roberto Mantovani (writer and journalist) will discuss the topic in conversation with Gianni Boschis (teacher and geologist, coordinator of the Ghiaccio Fragile project) and Andrea Cavaliere (mayor of Almese and architect).

The discussion will be enriched by video contributions from director Erik Gillo.

Free admission.
