Mattie

The Mattie Pro Loco, in collaboration with the Municipality, is organizing the Autumn Festival—featuring a traditional chestnut roast—on October 17th.

This summer's intense heat hindered the cultivation of the local *Baracafè* bean; the harvest was minimal, so the Mattie Bean Festival has been postponed until next year. However, the AUTUMN FESTIVAL and the CHESTNUT ROAST are confirmed, with a dedicated area providing information, interesting facts, and details about the *Baracafè* bean.

PROGRAM:
- 2:00 PM: Local producers' market.
Entertainment for children in a dedicated area featuring "Games and Chat" organized by the Con.i.s.a. Valle di Susa/Val Sangone Family Center and the C.S. D.A. cooperative.
- 3:00 PM: Registration and submission for the contest to find the 50 heaviest chestnuts and the heaviest pumpkin.
- 3:00 PM: Registration for the Round Bale Race.
- 4:00 PM: Start of the Round Bale Race. A fun competition of strength, speed, and skill where teams compete to push a hay bale (round bale) along a looped course marked by stakes inside the Multi-purpose Center. Teams consist of up to 3 players. The bale must be pushed using only one's hands. The team that crosses the finish line in the shortest time wins.
- 5:00 PM: Concert by the band FAK’IT NABIE.
- 6:00 PM: Award ceremony. - 7:00 PM Apericena (€16.00):
