On Saturday, August 9 at 09:00 pm at FRAZIONE MELEZET – BARDONECCHIA FEBBRE D’ALTA QUOTA. A doctor in the mountains, between epidemics and hope. A theatrical walk with Roberto Micali and Renato Sibille.
Start from the parish church of Sant’Antonio Abate.
It's the winter of 1859. While Italy fights for its independence, another battle is raging far from the roar of cannon fire: a silent and lethal epidemic strikes the villages of Bardonecchia and Melezet and the workers building the Fréjus Tunnel. Taking up the challenge is a young doctor: Secondo Laura. Her mission is not only to save lives, but to convince a frightened community to trust science, treatment, and collective responsibility. In a traveling theatrical walk that winds through the streets of Melezet, the audience will encounter figures who populated those tragic days: a priest torn between faith and fear, a desperate patient, a mayor tested by the health crisis. But it will be the voice of Doctor Laura—lucid, passionate, tireless—that will guide the story.
