A true Turin native of Calabrian origins, a lifelong comedian and stand-up comedian, Franco Neri rose to fame with his show Professione Meridionale (Southern Profession). In 2003, he released Franco, oh Franco! or how to live happily in the North eating bread and eggplant: the life, adventures, and folklore of a Calabrian integrated into the North. With appearances on many cult programs, he enters Italian homes every night. A comedian, he has made his Calabrian origins his hallmark: his show becomes a comic journey between North and South.
