On Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, the Pellegrina Legends 4ALL 2026 will bring the Susa Valley to life with an edition that confirms its most recognizable identity: a non-competitive, inclusive cycling and sporting event, suitable for a variety of cycling experiences and capable of combining sport, culture, local promotion, and hospitality.
The 2026 edition takes on special significance due to its connection to the 1300th anniversary celebrations of the Novalesa Abbey, in a regional narrative that ideally and physically brings participants to the Cenischia Valley, the Municipality of Novalesa, and the Abbey at the foot of Mont Cenis.
Promoted by the Guide Discovery Valsusa association, the sixth edition of the Pellegrina cycle route traverses several sections of the Susa Valley's Ciclovia Francigena, offering a free ride on secondary paved roads, dirt tracks, and rural roads, discovering the rich historical, architectural, and landscape heritage of this corner of the Western Alps. The logistical and organizational hub of the 2026 edition is the City of Susa, with the Legends Arena, home to the Bike Village, the registration desk, departures, arrivals, partner activities, sports experiences, entertainment, and the weekend's closing events.
The program includes two road itineraries, two for gravel bikes and mountain bikes, and the Family 4ALL route. The routes range from longer ones, up to 100 km with 1,300 meters of elevation gain between Susa, Novalesa, Bussoleno, Borgone di Susa, Sant’Ambrogio di Torino, Avigliana, Condove and back to Susa, to the 15 km Pellegrina 4ALL route with approximately 100 meters of elevation gain between Susa and Venaus.
Saturday, September 12th, will be dedicated to the Bike Village, partner activities, free experiences, guests, and talks. From 10:00 a.m. onward, the Bike Village and the desk for registration and race pack pickup, bike tests, partner activities, and free sports experiences will open. At 2:30 p.m., free guided tours of the Novalesa Abbey will be held with a delegation from the FAI (Italian National Trust) of the Susa Valley, and, again in the afternoon, talks on stage with guests related to the world of biking, travel, cyclist safety, and inclusion. One of the highlights will be the presentation of the Interreg Alcotra VIALPS project, dedicated to the development of a cross-border cycling circuit and its variants between the Susa Valley, Savoy, and the Hautes-Alpes. The overall route covers approximately 220 km and includes the Mont Cenis, Télégraphe, Galibier, Lautaret, Montgenèvre, and Colle della Scala passes, among others. Saturday's program will also focus on road safety and vulnerable road users, with the participation of Marco Scarponi of the Michele Scarponi Foundation, as well as the sharing of sporting and inclusive experiences with guests such as Paralympic medalist Lorenzo Bernard, Edoardo Laino, and Fabio Guglierminotti. The day will conclude with bike trial performances by the world champions of Team Green Bike, institutional greetings, a DJ set, aperitifs, and a pool party hosted by Legends Arena.
On Sunday, September 13th, the Bike Village and the last-minute registration desk will open at 7:30 a.m., while the five routes will start staggered between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., with entertainment and a soundtrack by ToRadio. The first arrivals at the Legends Arena are expected at 12:30 p.m., and catering for cyclists, guests, and staff will be available from 1 p.m. Special prizes will be awarded at 4:30 p.m., including a trip to Morocco offered by the Legends Arena. The weekend will conclude with a DJ set, aperitifs, and a pool party.
