Friday, August 21st at 6:00 pm in San Restituto, the theatrical performance "I Saw the Snow" will take place.
For adults and children alike. "I Saw the Snow" is the story of Ahmed, a fourteen-year-old Kurdish boy who lives in a school in Turin. One day, he and his classmates go to the top of the Mole Antonelliana, where they discover that near Turin there are mountains covered in snow, just like his hometown, which he had to flee as a child. He then decides to go see the snow and escapes from the school... The performance is loosely based on the book "La neve di Ahmed" (Ed. Jaca Book, 2003) by Francesca Caminoli. It is staged by Artemuda, with Roberto Micali, Renato Sibille, Patrizia Spadaro, Jovana Panic, and live music performed by Daniele Contardo. Artemuda is a Social Promotion Association made up of cultural operators and researchers with specific skills in the artistic sectors of theater, music and dance: hence the name of the Association, AR for Art, TE for Theater, MU for Music and DA for Dance.
