Sant'Ambrogio di Torino
On Saturday, July 18th, at 3:00 PM, the Foresteria Grande della Sacra di San Michele will host the presentation of "Il Cantico delle Ceneri," Miriam Cuatto's novel published by Graffio Editore.
Set in 14th-century Piedmont, the book weaves together history, folklore, and mystery in a tale that comes to life at the foot of the Sacra di San Michele. Ancient pacts, the legendary Witches, power plays, and intertwined destinies form the backdrop to the story of Artemisia and Clovis, protagonists of a story in which the line between legend and reality becomes increasingly blurred.
The event will be moderated by Alberto Borgatta and will offer the public the opportunity to engage with the author, delve deeper into the historical research that inspired the novel, and discover how one of Piedmont's iconic locations became the heart of the narrative.
The presentation will conclude with a guided tour of the abbey walls, continuing the journey through history and medieval charm in the places that inspired the book.
The event is open to all lovers of historical fiction, Piedmontese culture and traditions, as well as anyone wishing to spend an afternoon immersed in the timeless charm of the Sacra di San Michele.
