As a European Antenna Municipality, Almese is participating in the "A Heritage of Cultures, a Shared Peace" event, organized by the Europe Direct Torino center of the Metropolitan City of Turin, in collaboration with Torino 2033, with a rich program of events dedicated to Europe Day.

Thursday, May 7, 10:00 a.m. - Piazza Martiri della Libertà, Almese
The square will be transformed into a meeting and participatory space to celebrate European values through Flashmob4EU. The protagonists will be the children and young people of the "Riva Rocci" preschool and the Almese Comprehensive Institute (preschool, primary, and lower secondary schools), who have participated in educational programs on the European Union offered in schools.

As part of the "Tomorrow Was Late" series of meetings, the Youth Council is offering a discussion on the European Union's role in combating the climate emergency. Gabriella Perotto and Silvia Giudici will be speaking, offering insights into European policies and the actions needed to build a sustainable future.
