A training and information session for citizens and Ecovolunteers on food, to avoid waste and learn about food safety and hygiene, will take place on Thursday, May 28th from 4 to 5 pm in the Daniele Bertotto Auditorium.
The event, titled "Excess Value," is organized by ASL To3, led by experts from the Food Hygiene and Nutrition Service, together with the Departments of Social Policies, Health, and the Environment of the Municipality of Avigliana.
Becoming food custodians means nourishing the community: the meeting is dedicated to those who transform waste into solidarity every day, to operate with competence, safety, and nutritional awareness.
Topics covered: introduction to Ecovolunteer experiences; nutrition and social value. Balancing meals with surplus food and the importance of food in welfare; food safety and hygiene. Conservation, cold chain, and regulations for reuse.
