Che viva 25 aprile in Avigliana

A party at Alveare Verde Park entitled "Che viva 25 Aprile" (Long Live April 25) will take place from 1 pm to 8 pm, featuring music, workshops, and cultural events. Organized in collaboration with and under the patronage of the Municipality of Avigliana, the event is organized by the Avigliana National Association of Italian Participants (ANPI), Their Cry Is My Voice, The Memory Train, Emergency, Visrabbia Social Space, The House of Books, Ciclocucina, Solidarity Travel, The Prior's Inn, Casa Conte Rosso Hostel, Alp King Events, Casa Penelope, and Brodo di Giuggiole. Lunch is followed by reservation (free donation starting from €15, seating is limited). All proceeds, net of expenses, will be donated to the Rifugio Massi in Oulx. Following at 2:30 pm, the day's presentation will be held by ANPI, "Their cry is my voice," and the Treno della Memoria association will present. Each year, the association promotes programs on memory and active citizenship education, with the belief that only through understanding history can new generations be empowered to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

At 4:00 pm, the book "Donne in cerca di guai, partigiane della Valle di Susa e Val Sangone" (Women in search of trouble, partisans of the Susa Valley and Sangone Valley) will be presented. The book was written by three classes from the Galileo Galilei Institute (5C Tur, 5B Afm, and 4B Tur) and edited by teachers Franca Maltese and Cinzia Vecco.

The project, supported by the municipal administration and based on work done during the previous school year, has involved local schools, organizations, and associations dedicated to the Resistance, the Constitution, and active citizenship. It will be given as a gift to all the students who participated and will be available for purchase at the ANPI stand. Finally, in May, the book will be presented at the Turin Book Fair by the publishing house Impremix, which produced it.
At 5:10 PM, Don Luigi Chiampo of the Rifugio Massi will participate and speak, and at 6:40 PM, the Turin and Pinerolo Emergency groups, present with their own stands, will present the new project of the Avigliana territorial group.
Throughout the day, there will be various concerts and live music by Federico Sirianni, Bunna & The Black City, Angelo Desideri, Afrori, Le Schiene di Schiele, and Skappati di casa.
