The international exhibition "heART of GAZA" will open on Saturday, March 7th at 3:00 PM at the Diocesan Museum of Susa (Via Mazzini 1). This traveling exhibition aims to recount the war, trauma, but also hope and resilience through their eyes.
Until Sunday, March 29th, 2026, the rooms of the Diocesan Museum of Susa will host drawings by children and young people living in Deir Al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip. The works, created in the "artists' tent," depict bombings, life in refugee camps, and everyday scenes, often accompanied by short written testimonies.
The initiative, conceived by Mohammed Timraz and collaborated with Irish illustrator Féile Butler, aims to support the local community. It aims to raise awareness about the situation in Gaza, give a voice to children, and support the "We Are Not Alone" humanitarian project.
The Segusiano stop is organized by Granello di Senape OdV, an association active since 1988 in the promotion and enhancement of human dignity, in collaboration with the Diocesan Cultural Center and the Magnetto Foundation.
The Diocesan Museum will be exceptionally open on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Admission to the exhibition is free.
Groups and schools can visit daily by reservation at +39 0122 622640 or by email at museo@centroculturalediocesano.it.
Workshop activities can be organized for schools, both before and after the visit. These activities must be booked in advance.
