On Friday, September 5 at 9:00 PM, the screening of the new docu-film by director Luigi Cantore, titled “Yes… Always,” will take place at the Rodari School.
Organized by the Valsusa FilmFest, the screening tells the “intense” life story of Don Luigi Chiampo, the parish priest of Bussoleno, who dedicated his entire life to the most vulnerable and needy.
Before becoming a priest, Don Luigi Chiampo was a skilled marathon runner, participating in many races and often crossing the finish line first. However, his most meaningful victories came through his work with the Amico Social Cooperative in Almese, the Budrola family home in Condove, the Locanda del Priore in Vaie, and more recently, the Rifugio Massi in Oulx, which provides shelter and assistance to migrants.
It is the story of a priest and a man who is never at rest.
